Been traveling a bit, so got lots of audiobooks under my belt. Saw the Muppet Exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan (Mo Rocca wasn't there while I was) and went on The World's Longest Yard Sale from Ohio to Alabama. During this time I listened to
Hell of a Book ****,
Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency ***,
Falling ***** (If you like thrillers, don't miss this one!)
Triangle: The Fire That Changed America ***, and
American Baby: A Mother, a Child, and the Shadow History of Adoption ****
And I read
Legends of the North Cascades ****
Now reading
The Chosen and the Beautiful and listening to
The Birth of the FBI: Teddy Roosevelt, the Secret Service, and the Fight Over America's Premier Law Enforcement Agency

And I read

Below is my Goodreads and amazon.com review of 'Home'.
This is the second novel in the author’s series of four set in the Iowa town of Gilead. In this book Jack, the, philandering, thieving, alcoholic yet favorite son of the Reverend Boughton, skulks home to Gilead seemingly because he has run out of places to go. In his own clumsy way, he tries to rescue his fractious relationship with his dying father and his faith. As his father's forgiveness remains elusive, Jack finds comfort in the honesty and understanding of his sister, Glory, who also has returned to the fold to recover from a disastrous love affair. This is an intense and dark novel full of personal regrets, apologies, disappointments, misunderstandings and failed relationships. On the plus side, these miseries are somewhat balanced by the affection, empathy, support and genuine love that exists between the Boughton siblings. I found this book an immersive and emotionally draining read.
Read Triangle: The Fire That Changed America many years ago when i was leading a non-fiction book group at work. Found this one to be a winner and made for a great discussion.
Falling is absolutely fantastic. Love the flight and am betting this will be a movie.
Haven't read any of the others but wish I had been able to do The World's Longest Yard Sale. You'be done this many times and always seem to have a great time.

Carol, TWLYS is the weekend I look to most of all (except for Booktopia). It's me and Bill and we stop where we want and just don't let anything bother us.
Finished
A Woman Is No Man and and the Beautiful|55169019] The Chosen and the Beautiful. The latter is a retelling of The Great Gatsby and is so good. So much better than Nick

It's 690 miles of yard sales that happens every year along Route 127 the first full weekend (Thurs to Sun.) in August. It goes from Gadsden, Alabama to Addison, Michigan. We have done it almost every year for close to 20 years.
No, there are not sales every inch of the route. No, we don't stop at every sale. No, there is no way one can make the entire route. Yes, you can google it.

HGTV often does a special showing the sale.
I just finished listening to
The Birth of the FBI: Teddy Roosevelt, the Secret Service, and the Fight Over America's Premier Law Enforcement Agency. I'll be starting
Ethel Rosenberg: An American Tragedy
