For the tasks, I think it's better if no one claims a task until they are actually reading that book. Otherwise, we get slowed down waiting for someone to read.

sweet I was thinking we all go assigned a challenge and we picked a book to meet that challenge. when do we know when we get our challenges

We get assigned 3 characters and have to read 4 tasks per character. We'll know our first characters either Monday or Tuesday probably

okay and then we decide who read which challenge so we can complete 4 as a group or 4 as a individual?

4 as a group. People can claim spots on the spreadsheet as they read books that fit for the task

Hmm I think I created the review threads and gave the first 3 characters four days before the challenge started so people could plan in advance. So I'll most likely do the same this time around - they should be up tomorrow.

Just wanted to let you all know that your spreadsheet and your team's review thread have been updated with your first 3 characters. You can now start planning for what you would like to read for September!

so do we just add ourselves to the one that will fit like my next book is in that list of books to read. Do I select it? Just using this for example sorry about all the questions just want to make sure im doing things right.

Hey Brad! It depends on what the team wants to do. Claiming tasks for books they are going to read vs currently reading vs read and reviewed.

If you want, you can let your team know what you are planning to dive into September 1st and beyond and let them know what tasks it could fit. Whether it's for a character that you have or don't have just yet.

Just so the team knows, my plan was to read A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sara J Maas, I know that this covers The read a book from this list challenge. If this fits any of the other categories then just let me know I try not to read to much about the book because i would like to be kept in the dark going into this series.

I think it's better if people add books to the spreadsheet once they've started reading them. Once you start ACOTAR, you can add it to the Cursed books task.

Hi guys!! Disney is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world but this is my first challenge so hopefully I do everything right lool! I'm currently reading Skyhunter by Marie Lu which I should finish sometime this week or next, A Whole New World by Liz Braswell which is a song title so it would fit for Scar, and Lord of the Flies which is for school, not sure when I'll finish that! But if anyone wants to do a buddy read I'm down, my tbr is suuuper long so we'll see which ones I tackle this month. And one quick thing: I'm blind so I probably won't be able to do any of the cover-related challenges, which kinda sucks but there are plenty of other ones!Just thought maybe you guys would like to know! (Also Si and Am creeped me out as a child but I loooved Lady and the Tramp!) Excited to do this challenge, go team!

I agree lol, I still have so many books i want to read before Nov.

Just finished Skyhunter and added it, hopefully I did it right! (and if not let me know) I'm gonna finish A Whole New World soon and add it for Scar: book title is also a song, unless someone else is doing that! And now I'm starting The Fault in our Stars if anyone is interested/wants to suggest a task it would fit because I'm not sure yet lool! Super excited for the rest of the month! :)

I am loving this challenge so much! I am starting The Maidens if anyone wants to buddy read it. Just so excited that this fitted a challenge as well. One of my most anticipated books of the year.
