If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Please note that a rating is now required in your completion posts! A small review is also welcome. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.

So, Hi Megan, Laura, and Karen! I'm so excited to start a new round of the game. I know we're going to have a great time again.
I have a couple of housekeeping questions. Do we want to have a team name-and if so, any ideas?
Megan
Shelf Indulgence
Overbooked
Bookworm chasers
Swift Bibliophiles
Speedy Readers
Alicia
No Shelf-Control
Chic Lits
Happy Bookers
Or we could reuse our name from last time-"The Page Turners" (I still really like this name! LOL)
Also, it's helpful to know our different time zones
Alicia - PST (California time)
Laura- ADT
Megan- BST (GMT in October)
Karen- CDT (Chicago time)

I'm currently in BST but I think we change back at the end of October to GMT, just an hour difference.
Name ideas:

Not sure I have very good ideas atm.

I'm on an MM and fantasy kick right now, trying to get through several before we start this game 😊

So what do ya'll think of Happy Bookers? or Shelf Indulgence? Either of those work for me. Any preference?

I have no preference I see you've also suggested our last group name. I don't mind using that?
Just finished a mystery off and sad to see the authors not done anymore books :-( I always hate it when a series ends unexpectedly but it was sort of an ending I just didn't realise it was the last book.

Hi Megan 😊
I agree, I really like The Page Turners too, so I'll go ahead and send that one to MKat.
I'll get your answers added to our list and then see if there's anything we still need to answer.
Can't wait- it's just a couple days to go 😁

Very excited! I'll be checking first thing in the morning to see the first task, 😊

Laura I can always use the ones on your list from last time if you want?

I took a look earlier but just wasn't feeling 100%. A nap helped. I'm going to grab some toast and then look again. It won't be the first task so I have a little time.

0. Each teammate reads a book initially published in a fall month, teams decide which month.
As a team select a fall month. Fall this year is from September 22 through December 21 - so you may select September, October, November or December, then everyone reads a book initially published in the selected month of any year. For this task, use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page - use it! Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month in your completion posts.

I can make the others work too"
September works fine, let's do it. 😊

How book fits: Pub. 9/7/21
Date Completed: 9/22/21
Rating/Review: 3 stars
The story was ok, it was just so very picture perfect that it was almost boring. The MCs were both gorgeous, successful, wonderful humans, with wonderful families, living in a wonderful town, etc. Even the bad guy didn’t make an appearance until the very end, and he was just a pathetic excuse of a villain. Maybe I’ve been watching too many cop shows, but I would have liked this better if there had been some action or mystery included.

Review: This kid is literally a brat and its such a weird meeting between the two MCs I felt really uneasy about it.
