Addicted to YA discussion

Read this book not too long ago, and it seems like the beginning of an interesting new series. It starts in today`s society, known to us all, and slowly takes us to a new dystopian world mainly due to the general need of social networking and the need to "stay connected".
The main character of this first book is the brain behind the down fall, in other words the villain -which is quite interesting.. The heroes will probably emerge in the upcoming books.

Anyone else read it? Thoughts?
