Hour 13 - Focus tips! Oct2021

I take naps. I napped for a tiny bit earlier. I will set alarm for 30 minutes. I have hour 14, so just a power nap.
When I wake up, I wilk switch not nonfiction.
Later I will switch to audio.
Just keeping the changes coming.
And not overeating or over tea drinking.

I like the switch-ups too! I also watched a little bit of one of my fave movies (Nightmare Before Christmas) to mix it up!

I made that mistake the last readathon...I started to play Portal to stay awake and ended up playing the entire game and NOT reading lol. Not this time!

Yep we learn from things that don't work out and adjust for future readathons!!

You would think that, wouldn't you? I on the other hand…. lol

:-) Susy...lol

Mini breaks help to take the drudgery of of extended reading . This works for me too . Of course , I won't have read as many pages as
as the who don't do this . I will have enjoyed what I've read .
Good point . Thanks !

Let’s talk about distractions and focus!
24 hours might seem like a long time to some and not long enough to others.
For those that find themselves distracted or find it difficult to focus, how do you get yourself back on track?
Put your tips down below and/or save this post to come back to when you’re finding it hard to focus!
For me…I get on the floor and move around. I’m actually writing this from my yoga mat! If I do some light stretching or just get off the bed/couch for a few minutes, I’m much more able to focus again!
Oh and put my phone down! I use hour glass timers when I’m feeling really distracted and need to be phoneless!
