Melindam | 160 comments I need to think about this, but the ability to bookjump from the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde would undoubtedly be number 1. :)

Henk | 35 comments In Too Like the Lightning by Ada Palmer a child comes back who can just materialise what he imagines, for instance a resurrection potion. However that is so all powerful he quickly falls into a kind of depression since he is feels by extension responsible for ever death. But closest to omnipotence I saw in a book so far, most versatile, so I'd think I take that if given the choice.

Cookie M. (goodreadscomcookieknits) | 5 comments I always wanted the coin from "Half Magic" by Edward Eager. It would be challenging to remember to wish for twice as much of something as you wanted to get half the result, and fun to trick people into wishing for something and only getting half of their wish, like when the children' mother wished she was at home and found herself on a dark road in the middle of nowhere.

Melindam | 160 comments I would also love to own a house like Gerturde Hunt Inn in the Innkeeper series by Ilona Andrews.

I mean a house that keeps itself clean, can redecorate and rearrange itself and its gardens according to needs or the owner's mood: UTTER BLISS. :)

Gogol | 113 comments The ability to trace anywhere in the world and even beyond from the vampires in kresley cole books, and yes, to be an innkeeper and own an inn like Gertrude Hunt Inn are things, my adult self daydreams about like a 12 year old. Also the elves potion that helps grow trees and plants from Lord of the Rings which they gifted to Sam gamgee.

 Cookie M. (goodreadscomcookieknits) | 5 comments Melindam,
A house that cared for itself based on your needs and desires would be beyond heaven!
I imagine rooms that rearrange the colors and recreate wall space every time I finish a beautiful piece of needlework so it has the perfect spot to show it off.

Cookie M. (goodreadscomcookieknits) | 5 comments And who wouldn't want instant transportation pads from so many science fiction novels? Imagine being able to visit friends and loved ones all over the world any time you wished? No Covid in these worlds either. Hugs for everyone!

Melindam | 160 comments Another great idea. :)
