What Christian series is it that seems boring to you now? Just curious to see if I or my kids have read them.😊

I actually do not use a nightstand, as the size of them is way too small for all my books!🫣. I use a large end table that my grandfather made years ago. Therefore, I have more books on my bedside table than you would be interested in knowing about.😁

Ohhhh, tell us all the books! Or at least some of them if you've got a lot of them. :P
Well, ok @Tiffany! Some have been there for a while imploring me to read them, but as they are non- fiction, I just don’t have the motivation to pick them up. So there they stay.😔
1. My kindle, which has loads of books on it, including my favorite fantasy series, The Queen’s Thief and all of my classics.
2. Two of my Bibles—one ESV Study Bible and one Holcomb Standard Bible
3. Devotional book: New Morning Mercies
4. Parenting Book: Age of Opportunity
5. Parenting Book: The Heart of Anger
6. Parenting Book: Mama Bear Apologetics
7. My reading journals, which reminds me that I am behind in journaling
8. The Chosen Book One devotional: 40 Days With Jesus
9. Twelve Extraordinary Women of the Bible
10. Charles Dickens: Faith, Angels, and the Poor
Should I count the books I returned to the library yesterday??😅

Oh wow! There's a lot of interesting books here. I don't have a Kindle (yet, lol), but I want to get one. I used to have a new testament that was given to me many years ago when I was going to a Catholic school by one of the priests that came to my classroom. It was the first time we got to do the Readings for mass and he handed out these little books. I had it for so many years that it fell apart. :(
The Twelve Extraordinary Women of the Bible sounds really great. I love books that talk about women. Whether Biblical women or historical women... I love them just the same! The Charles Dickens sounds good as well. It sounds like a nonfiction that discusses the author?

I've got the following books:
1. The Librarian of Saint-Malo by Mario Escobar
2. The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole
3. The Italian and The Romance of the Forest both by Ann Radcliffe
4. Cecilia by Frances Burney
5. Washington Square and The Ambassadors both by Henry James
6. Jezebel's Daughter by Wilkie Collins
7. Sherlock Holmes and The Beast of the Stapletons by James Lovegrove
8. Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto
9. The Holocaust, the French, and the Jews by Susan Zuccotti
10. The Coming of the Third Reich by Richard J. Evans
Whether I pick up these books right away is another matter altogether, though. I pick up the ones I'm in the mood for, swap out the ones I'm not, and switch them with the books I feel like I want to read soon quite regularly. I'm a mood reader. Sometimes I'm in the mood for certain books and at other times I fall out of the mood and replace books on my shelves and put others on the TBR ones...

Oh my goodness, really?! I read it in early middle school, so it's definitely been a while, and I'm very excited to get an updated view on it!

Sorry, Casey, I have no plan. I just keep adding books to my tbr, rarely choosing books from it.🤦♀️
Loved To Kill a Mockingbird--reread it last school year since my daughter was reading it for school.

I'm kind of obsessed with everything having an order 😅 Just mildly.
I'm so eager to read To Kill a Mockingbird! I've heard so many great things about it! There are so many good books, I've got lined up after that 😆
One of which is Mark of the Raven! I mean to read the whole series this year 😁

To Kill a Mockingbird's Atticus Finch is the greatest hero of "classic" literature I have read. I just love his character, and as a parent, I appreciate him more on my recent reread than when I read it as a young teen.
Mark of the Raven is really good! I hope you enjoy the trilogy!
