Here's a pretty long list of horror books being released in 2022. Might want to start saving up money now for these.

I can already hear my wallet sob, and feel my hand ache from the request slips I'll be filling out at the library! 😂

Ok maybe this won't be another NetG rejection, but I caught up on all my missing reviews for them ( two to be accurate) so let's see lol.

message 20: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments That list is long and there are tons of books on there, but I got to thinking about something - there will be tons of indie horror coming too no doubt that is not even on that list. We better start socking away our money now! LOL

Thank you, I'm pleased to see that I already had some on my neverendingly TBR but hey, what a few more right? Also love a lot of the covers, really creative and imaginative.

:D
At one point I had an estimate of needing to live to about 105 to read the books already on my tbr... I may have to increase that.

I TRY, lol. Honestly, what helps is if I have books, in my pile, that I can't get at the library and I am not interested enough in them to buy them elsewhere. I have cut down on a few books that way.

If you're a NetGalley member and interested in reading a new anthology based on classic movie monsters, this book below has a "Read Now" status on NG.

jamako (jann1k) | 192 comments Definitely excited for What Moves the Dead. T. Kingfisher's first two forays into horror were both entertaining and refreshingly different takes on the genre. Especially liked the light-heartedness her heroines used to cope with their predicaments. Also, that cover art is gorgeous.

Others I'm looking forward to are Sundial, Road of Bones, Dead Silence, and Echo.
