I've read it this year actually! =) By some reason it doesn't look that way even though I've marked the Swedish edition as read. I actually understood who the murderer would be from the beginning - I feel kind of proud of myself. I think I ought to work as I private investigator =D

Amanda who answered just before you won but there is a Free Square as well. And one of the books you mentioned I do have in my shelfes but haven't read yet and I'm actually quite eager to read it so guess what - I'll choose The Child in Time by Ian McEwan as my Free Read =)

Thankyou =) I remember listening to a radio dramatization of the story when I was a child and I loved it so much, I hope I will recapture some of the magic feeling.

I started to read a few pages in the beginning of this year but it was a library loan and I was reading to many books simultaneously and I had to let it go back since there were people waiting for it. When I borrow it next time I'll set my mind to focus because it started very intriguing and I really do want to read it.

Oh, yes - The Dandelion Wine - soo tempting! But - I have promised myself the two or three last years to only read the books that I have at home .... and I haven't got those. On the other hand I'm very disobdient to myself and I just realised that one of the books at my Bingo Board is a book I'm gonna borrow from the library ....

hmm, you make it so difficult for me now, Lol! =D

It will be a bonus book, If a finish all the others before 2022 runs towards its end, then I'll defintely reconsider your suggestions and especially The Dandelion Wine!

Hahaha, if only time didn't run as fast as it does! Yes, I DO want to read them all, and I DO have a TBR-list that probably will never ever cease to grow. But because of that I really want to focus on the hundreds of books that I already own instead of always borrowing other books. Or wishing for new ones at birthdays and christmas. Or buying more books at second hand book stores or at the annual big book sales. I am hopeless. I'm glad I'm amongst other likeminded people here! =)

Well i like learning languages and there were some free Norwegian classes so i started that and thought well i'm missing a trick if i don't learn Swedish and Danish at the same time, and then my friend wanted to learn Swedish too so i'm trying to keep up with her. :)

Wow! But isn't it difficult to study those languages simultaneously? They are so similar so it must be easy to get confused. I remember when I studied Spanish and French at the same time, some days I really didn't know whether I was saying a French word or Spanish and I mixed them intermittenty, especially the days when I had classes in both languages. Well, if you want to practice some Swedish with me you are welcome!
Jag önskar dig en God Jul =)

I really loved it, I don't think my review tells enough. I was really sleepy when I wrote it in the middle of the night, it was required that I wrote something for a reading challenge, I ought to rewrite it. But yes - do read this classic! A fantastic read!

Nice to have one done, Nike. I don't have We on my TBR, so I guess I must add it. I understand it was very influential for other dystopian fiction. Delighted to know it is also a good read.

Yes, it was mindblowing! I haven't read 1984 nor Aldous Huxleys book yet and I've understood from many others that once they've read We the others just seem like pale tries of copying it. I'll wait some time before I read those. I did read Kallocain when I was young and loved it but I wonder if it would stand for a reread.
