Greg (lupercross) | 2257 comments After reading a hundred books or more every year for more than a decade the number of books I read has dropped drastically. While there are many reasons for this, the main ones are that I have retired and have developed new hobbies. Plus my old eyes are not what they used to be. So my intention is to read 50 books in 2022.

Greg (lupercross) | 2257 comments Not pertinent to any 2022 reading challenge, but I just finished Cold Harbour by Jack Higgins. A book that, like many, has been on my to-read shelf for years. This gives me 20 books toward the 35 I need for the 2021 challenge. Safe to say I am not gonna make it.

Greg (lupercross) | 2257 comments Again for 2021, finished "Into The Light" by David Weber. Gives me 21/35 books for the year.

Julietta (julesnosenabook) | 37 comments You're getting pretty close. I can relate to the old eyes, but find I have more time to read during retirement! :)

Greg (lupercross) | 2257 comments This is the last book for 2021. I have barely started two new books, so they will be done in 2022. But for now, here is Passage to Mutiny by Alexander Kent to finish off my reading journey for 2021.

One of my sons got me new glasses for Christmas, including a pair just for reading. Hopefully, I will get a lot more books read in 2022.

Greg (lupercross) | 2257 comments My second book of 2022 is Born of Silence book 5 of the League: Nemisis Rising series by Sharrilyn Kenyon. I was a bit worried before I started reading because the reviews for the book were far more negative than for any other in this 5 star series and, unfortunately, the were correct. This book had 614 pages.
