Jade rushed her, disarming her in 2 seconds. He needed to stop this madness but didn't have the guts to apologize. *Ugh.* He sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry I kissed you. I should've waited until you were ready." He was still angry, and seething. "But that is NO reason to shoot me. I think you can get over a kiss. Unless you'd rather be getting over my death. That's fine with me too." The words came out a jumbled mess through gritted teeth. He let her wrists go, and stormed out of the room. Jade walked down the hall, and stood at a window. He smashed it, staring at the ground far below. Jade thought about jumping out, but figured it'd be wiser to climb. *No. I'd get too tired and fall to my death.* He shrugged. *Who care's. I'm a burden to everyone and alway's will be.* Shaking his head, he thought again. *No. I can do better. Turning back around he walked into a pitch black room, and sat in the back corner. If people really cared they'd come search for him eventually. Pulling his hood down, he closed his eyes.

Veronica buried her face in the couch and screamed, and screamed, and screamed. She hated feelings, she hated boys, she hated Jade ((for now at least)). Why couldn't he got it through his stupid head? SHE WASN'T READY.

Jade could hear Veronica's crying and screams from where he was sitting. Covering his ears, he tried to sleep.

Teddy turned to Ian, "Fifty fifty, huh? Well, let me think a minute, I don't wanna be the one responsible for your death if we go the wrong way," Teddy paused to smirk at Ian, "Let's go this way."
Teddy started down the hall cautiously. Then he turned to Ian, "Come on ya slow poke."

Veronica screamed into the couch until she was horse. She finally sat up and realized that her face was wet. She had been crying and didn't notice. She wiped off her face and glared in the direction that Jade had gone in.

*oops, its hoarse not horse

Teddy urged Ian to follow him, "Where are we even trying to go? The kitchen?"

"FIGHT! FIGHT!" Jade heard the crowd yell and stomp. The ground vibrated with the excitement. The gate opened, and his opponent walked out....Veronica. Another gate opened. Liam and his Sister came out. They all surrounded him. Against all instinct, Jade dropped his sword. He couldn't fight them, and surely they wouldn't kill him either.
"You're a failure. You deserve to be here." Liam yelled.
"It's your fault I'm dead. Father and Mother would be disappointed. You are a disappointment. "
Veronica glared at him, pulling out an arrow.
"You got too close, you let someone in. You knew better."
They all knocked their bows, and let the string go. Just before they struck, Jade startled awake, yelling.

Teddy stopped in the middle of the hall, he heard screaming. Veronica he thought. What did that idiot, Jade, do this time?
"There's something wrong with Veronica, Ian. We need to go help her." Teddy said.

Teddy looked at Veronica, her face red and stained with tears. She looked miserable.
"What--what happened? What did Jade do? I'll kill him." Teddy said angrily.

Veronica laughed harshly. "Not if I do it first." She wiped her eyes and buried her face in one of the couch cushions.

Jade growled, and pulled his cowl down farther. All he could hear is the yelling of his opponents at the Arena. No..those were the screams of Veronica. *Argh. Would she just be quite!* He itched eye, and realized they were wet. *No point in crying over some mistake I made* He wasn't thinking of the kiss, more of letting Veronica get close enough for him to kiss. ((JADE STOP HAVING A PITY PARTY)

Teddy looked around the room frantically, "Where is he? Where is Jade?"

Veronica sighed and raised her head from the now soaking wet pillow. "He kissed me" she whispered.
