"It was smaller than you?" Veronica was confused. Juvenile werewolves were still the size of a small horse.

"V, I can go hunt it down."

"yes yes, smaller than me." He put his hand near his hip. "About this height."

Veronica looks at Jade. "Nope, I'm doing it." She pulled out her pistol.

"I still have your dagger."

Veronica was still confused about the size of the werewolf. "This could be a new discovery! There's never been a juvenile werewolf that small in all of recorded history."

She turned to Jade. "And I have a pistol and silver arrows."

"I think he's lying." Jade said and walked off, silver dagger in hand.

Veronica frowned at his back. The man had obviously been attacked. Why would he lie about what had attacked him?

"Oh nothing." She helped Mikel stand up. "You need to rest, there are some couches in the next room."

"Okay. Where did that scowling man go?" Mikel asked.

"I don't know and I don't care" she muttered to herself. She led Mikel to the couch.

Mikel sat down next to her.
"Why don't you care?"

Veronica sighed. "He and I were...kind of together for a little while, but I said I wasn't ready for anything big and he...kissed me. I got mad and then he got mad so, we're both furious with eachother."

Mikel frowned, his eyebrows close together in a scowl.
"That jerk. I'd never do that...not that I'm saying...that..." He stopped, and laughed sheepishly.

Veronica smiled a little. "That's nice to know." She sighed. "I just wish he could learn to wait."

"He probably never will. Guys like that never change." Mikel snickered, but quickly covered it by a cough.

"I hope you're wrong, I hope he changes." Veronica sighs and leans back on the couch.

"No you don't. If he did it once, what's to stop him doing it twice? Never go back to a guy like that. Trust me." Mikel grimaced, grunting in pain.

Veronica sighed. "I just don't know what to do. I think I still like him, but what if you're right and I can't trust him not to do it again?"

"I am right, I've dispatched men like this. They don't deserve to bring their...their I don't know, but they don't deserve to put it in others life. Stay away from him. Let him go from your heart, he has you in his hands, and will completely and utterly destroy you." ((GOSH I HATE MIKEL RN)

Veronica glanced at Mikel "I don't think Jade is that bad."

Veronica blushed a deep red. "Uh...uh...children?"

"Well, you said you guys used to be together...right? Never mind, but would you *Reallly* want a life with that guy? " He took Veronica's hand, and set it in his lap.
"Listen, find yourself a guy who will respect you, who isn't a murderer, and who isn't bout to explode with anger"

Veronica was still embarrassed, but Mikel was right.

Veronica turned towards a window. "Maybe you're right. Maybe I should keep looking. He is just one guy, there are plenty of them out there."

Mikel looked into her eyes, and moved her hair away from her eyes.

Veronica felt, uncomfortable. She had just met this guy, but he also seemed to understand what she was looking for.

Mikel let go of her hand, and smiled. Something sinister poked through his grin. Mikel knew she let down her guard, and he laughed.
"You're such a sweet girl." He smirked

Veronica was feeling really uncomfortable now. What was she doing here with this creep? She had her hand ready. She wanted him to just try and do something. She'd make his face fly off!
