Another excellent title by Disher!

Lisa Bianca (lisabianca) | 11 comments Two thirds of the way through the book now, and I found like other Disher's that it was slow for me to build a bond with the characters but am now feeling much more connected.
Although I have a tiny suspicion as to the "whodunnit" really I have no idea.
I think so many of Disher's books would adapt well to a movie, something for Netflix?

I couldn't agree more, Brenda. I guess I should wait for 'final thoughts' to post my review - next week?

Heather | 50 comments My book finally arrived today! (ordered on November 12th, it was supposed to have beeen a Christmas present)
Arrived in a plain white envelope not in the booktopia cardboard.
So I've got to get a move on and start reading!

Sounds like you've had my trouble Heather! Glad yours finally arrived! I ordered 2 books for my granddaughters on 13th November for Christmas and they still haven't arrived. I've finally had the money refunded as I gave up waiting!

Greg Woodland | 46 comments Excellent review Col. I loved this one too. Perhaps not quite as much as Peace, which was a 5* cracker from me. I read a lot of so-called page-turners, and yes, that can be great too. But there's nothing like a deeply involving slow-burn with characters whose skin you get under, and you care about. Like them or not.
