That line actually comes from the Department of Homeland Security. It's kind of their motto. It's supposed to get people to report "suspicious activity." I think a lot of groups have adopted it.

message 7: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Webb | 1361 comments Ahhh thank you Kristie haha that makes sense now!!!

message 8: by Corina (new)

Corina | 2768 comments Thats interesting to know, Kristie!

Corina | 2768 comments Have you read this one?

message 10: by Kristie, Moderator (Retired) (new)

Kristie | 5929 comments Corina wrote: "Have you read this one?"

I have not. It looks really good though and I was thinking about joining, but I have a slew of books to get through in January. I review for NetGalley and I've fallen a bit behind.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you all think of it and may read it eventually.

message 11: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Webb | 1361 comments I have like 5 Netgalley reviews to do as well but oh well I'm looking forward to this one

message 12: by Corina (new)

Corina | 2768 comments Thats too bad, Kristie, this looks like a good one, so hopefully you can pick it up at some point.
I hope you are enjoying the books you need to review.
I was looking into netgalley at one point but I think they only accept US.

message 13: by Kristie, Moderator (Retired) (new)

Kristie | 5929 comments I don't blame you, Courtney! This is a fun group to be a part of. I love discussing while I read. I'm trying to stay focused for a little while longer though... I have at least four more that I have to read before February.

I am enjoying them, Corina! I think I have some good books on my shelf. :) I have friends from other countries that also use NetGalley - UK, Australia, Canada... Where are you from?

message 14: by Corina (new)

Corina | 2768 comments Good luck with those, Kristie! Looking forward to seeing your reviews and probably add some more to my neverending TBR haha
I live in New Zealand, I should probably check it out again more thoroughly

message 15: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Webb | 1361 comments Yeah Corina you'd really like it, I'm just now getting into it but I do find a lot of my time that I spend reading I like to do it with you guys so im definitely neglecting it. this one is already pulled me in! Kristie, maybe you can jump on in February or suggest something to read when you get a chance!

message 16: by Kristie, Moderator (Retired) (new)

Kristie | 5929 comments Sounds good, Courtney. Thanks for the invite. :) I also have a ridiculously long TBR, so I'm sure I can come up with a suggestion.

message 17: by Corina (new)

Corina | 2768 comments This one is defininitely intriguing and tense. I like a closed mystery/thriller too.
