for me, my dream room would have a massive bookshelf full of all the books I’ve read on them and I’ll keep adding to it. So I’ve started buying books now and keeping them!

I started buying paperbacks (kinda addicting to buying them) and read those. But if a book is on Kindle Unlimited then I’ll read that one on KU and if I really love that then I would buy the paperback version of that book cuz I usually like to have copies of my favorite books that I read on Kindle Unlimited.

I used to. But I mainly buy the books to send to friends after I read them. In California at least, we have drive up free libraries on the side of the road and I put some in there if I don’t keep them for my collection!

i know consumerism isn't ideal but there isnt a library for miles where i live, so i end up buying books/reading them online

For me personally I am a paperback reader so I order all the books I want to read off Amazon!!! I try to stop buy books because I run out of room but I just can’t seem to read books unless they are paperback.

I buy all of my books as paperbacks because I live somewhere where there isn't a library nearby. But am considering getting a Kindle soon and converting to ebooks because my book shelves are getting out of hand.

Buying books all the way! However, if I’m not sure about a book, or it’s part of a super long series and I don’t want to buy 5-10 books, I’ll read the ebook first. I get free ebook loans with my library.

I love buying books and putting them up in my bookshelve! My mum kept all of her favorite books for me to read and I want to do that too for my future children :)

I buy books, I just cannot buy books from the library

i’m quite lucky to have libraries local to me so i mostly go to the library! if i can’t find a book i like, i either go on scribd (virtual library sort of) to read it or if i’m SUPER desperate and really want to read the book then i buy it.

i buy books when i'm not broke lol. besides, i live in a small city and we don't have a local library here :/

I love buying books so much <3 I just like to collect them and ad them to my bookshelf’s. The main reasons why I like buying books are:
-because the covers are so pretty
-when I love books I want to keep them and have them to either read again or just admire them because there sooo good hahha

i used to read ebooks because i could download them for free so it was obviously cheaper but now i buy paperbacks all the time and am slowly going broke but i love the satisfaction of reading a physical book and they look pretty on my shelf but i’m quickly running out of space :D

i love love love buying new books, but recently i've been looking into buying secondhand especially because of the supply shortages :)

i like to buy books because it’s my dream to have a huge shelf with a bunch of books i have read. and i love to reread. i have tried to read online a few times but it’s not for me

I am constantly buying books 🤡 The only library books I usually read are audiobooks/ebooks from Scribd, and then whenever I read a book on there and really love it I get sad because I don't have a physical copy. It's a problem for my bank account haha

honestly when i can afford to i try to buy them but only the books that i know i'll love and the rest i just download it on my phone :)

both!! i have way too many books and i also borrow heaps. if i love a book a lot i will go and buy it :)

i used to get books from libraries but i love rereading books or going back to look at things whenever i can, and owning the book rather then borrowing them made it easier.

I buy them in the bookstore, but you can do both. I just like to own books and I can‘t own a book from the library..

I only like to read English romance books, but sadly they don’t have that in my country in the library, so I just buy book online, or from a local book store☺️
