How do you advertise your books?

When advertising I've used methods of using book trailers, Illustrations of characters also I have had IG segments where I've discussed my novel with past readers. It has helped a lot in sales and also connecting with people who love the genre I write.

Yes, and it all depends on the genre you write. There are so many different resources to use to market your work where it looks attractive.

This is such a good question. I try really hard to support indie authors of color. I'm not an author, but I see a lot of authors promote/advertise on IG. That's where I've discovered a lot of new books.

Hello all. I'm not a new author, but I've just released my first audiobook a few months ago. The book is called A Heart At War.

Hello everyone. I am a new author. I self-published my first book in December. Chauna-lea this is a brilliant question, it is one I am trying to get my head around. I have promoted my book on my website and instagram page and I have been reaching out to bloggers too. As I write poetry, I feel as though there are less options for advertising.

Also forgot to mention I am working on a book celebration event. I was suppose to have a launch party in December but I caught Covid so I had to cancel it.

I use social media, including TikTok. I've participated in podcast and been featured on blogs, which allows the opportunity for me to chat about my books, and my journey as an author. I also started physically touring again. Something that I did consistently before the pandemic. Talking to readers face to face, helped grow my audience too.

Hello Christine. I've used a lot of images as well to promote my books. I usually take one of my created images, post something about the character and find a fitting song to accompany it. I've found that method to create better results for me.
