Jim was attacked in his RV and whoever attacked him tried to destroy the evidence in the barrel retrieved from the river. He recovered.

Gray killed Lettie because she was grousing about the girls needing more money. Jasper directed him to “take care of her.” Peter Landry killed Nicki because she outed him about being gay and preferring young boys. Gray killed Tanya at Preston’s direction. Hannah’s husband killed her at the Magnolia Inn after she began prostituting to support her drug habit. Guidry disposed of her body. Preston killed Ginny because she tried to leave him. Gray told Elijah to kill Ernestine because they knew she was talking to Beau. He couldn’t do it so Gray killed her and then killed Elijah. Jean Paul was murdered in prison because he killed Jake who was running drugs for the Cormiers. Winnie was forced to take Jake’s place because she’d ridden with him and no one else knew the route or the players.

Robert Abbott killed Lily, his mistress, because she got pregnant and planned to keep the baby. Crystal and Jasper put her in the barrel, Jean Paul dumped the barrel into the river. They’re not sure if he knew the contents.

Bonnie was placed with the Curt Danville and his wife who will probably adopt her. They’ve also offered Winnie to stay with them while she goes to school.

Ricky Dubois hasn’t returned home since his best friend Ethan died of an overdose at the hands of the Cormier’s and his father turned a blind eye. Ethan was running drugs for Cormier and Ricky had surreptitiously gathered evidence, giving it to his father. Richard destroyed the evidence and told him to stay away. Peter Landry owned Richard who for years covered up his crimes. He committed suicide after confessing to Matt.

Peter Landry co-opted the drug business when he became mayor and the Cormiers worked for him.

Savannah Trahan shared information about the team’s investigation with her ex-husband Robert and covered up his partnership role with Peter Landry and Jasper Steele when their company was being investigated. She redacted his name from the report.

Matt confronts Kara and they agreed to be open about their relationship. (hide spoiler)]
