i get that. i really do. the less you talk to him/interact with him, the less it will hurt. but, it will always hurt. im living it right now.

I would talk with him, and tell him that what he's doing is really hurting you. Even if he doesn't mean it, that's not OK. He's in control of what comes out of his mouth, and if he keeps doing it when he knows that it hurts you, that just shows you what kind of person he is.

And always remember- you're awesome, special, and unique just the way you are. You don't need him to feel that way.

damn bro. instead of bottling up your feelings, you should let them out. show him exactly what he deserves. playing with anyone's feelings is horrible, and if you can't let him go, them i'm sorry, but for your mental well being, you're going to have to. just keep growing distant, you'll find better ppl for sure. even if you don't want to, block his number. stop talking to him. hell, maybe even ignore him if he tries to talk to you. honestly i dont get why you're still friends with him if he got with your best friend RIGHT AFTER your breakup, you should move on. i mean you also need better friends if your best friend actually got with him right after you guys broke up, she's not a true friend of yours.

Okay so lately me and my guy friend haven't been that close. I know he's with his girlfriend, and I fully respect that. Both of them are my close friends and i understand their relationship. But now, ever since she cheated on him and they broke up and things have gotten a bit uneven with the friendship balance. I've tried talking with her, but she doesn't want me with him, and same with him...I don't know who to choose from....

I know they both want the best for me, but sometimes it feels like they aren't paying attention to me. I've stopped talking to them for a while so they can fix up their messes and I don't know what else I can do...

maybe see if anybody there likes the same things as you and just be friendly - smile and stuff and if you feel confident you can initiate conversation, or you can wait for somebody to talk to you

I'd say just try to make friends. talk to people, find similar interests, say hi, smile, basically what Katie said. be nice and be respectful to people, and bond over your art!
