We were wondering what to do when someone follows our reviews or just follows us or becomes a fan as authors. Is it acceptable to message the person and thank them? If the "follow reviews' button is not on their profile, does that mean they want to be left alone in general?
As authors, how can we thank a person for following reviews or just following, without seeming like stalkers?

Good question. I'd like to hear opinions on this as well.

I'm new to Goodreads and don't want to break an unwritten rule, but don't want to seem rude for not responding either.
