Personality: Silas’ personality is typically overshadowed by his IED, leading people to believe he’s mean and unfair. He bursts at the slightest things and sometimes overthinks other people’s actions to the point of getting mad at them for not doing anything wrong. His blowups only last a little bit, but typically he gets angry before that, a blowup being when he gets too upset. He can’t stand being around other people too long, with the exception of Donatello. He’s abrasive and rash and believes people are inherently bad; the opposite of his older brother.
Besides these points though, Silas is also especially compassionate, recognising when he hurts people. His disability may make him lash out consistently but that doesn’t mean he’s incapable of feeling guilt. Most of the time after an explosion he does feel ashamed and does his best to work on how he reacts. He’s honest, sometimes to the point of bluntness and incredibly loyal to the people he chooses to be close to.

History: (view spoiler)[Silas was born into a mafia, his parents actually being very powerful figures (mafia is unnamed because I’m not that creative). His sister being five years older than him, she became sort of a mentor. Her being blood related meant nothing about how she treated him. She was harsh from the beginning - his training started at eight, so Juliette was thirteen. She didn’t accept “mistakes”, punishing him for the slightest accidents. Punishments from Juliette meant her telling their parents, which meant his father typically got involved. His father getting involved was dangerous.
The man was no-nonsense and strict to the point of cruelty. He favored Juliette, which meant that Silas was expected to work harder to earn his father’s respect, much more for love. She was better at everything. She was more agile, had more strength, she was intelligent and swift and thought on her feet. All things that took Silas much longer to learn. He wasn’t a prodigy. She was.
His first mission was given to him at twelve. He failed it, to say the least. He didn’t remember much of what happened during, but he remembered everything that happened afterwards. When his family found out, his sister cackled at him, entertained at the consequences that would befall the boy. His mother turned away, ashamed of her son and took away meal times. His father was the worst though.
Silas didn’t remember much of the torture he was forced to endure. He’d passed out multiple times from the pain, and because of his father, he has permanent wounds all around his body.
He met Donatello later, having known of Miss May from a young age. They became friends quite fast, and because of Silas’ proficiencies in languages - including sign language - he was able to teach the older boy, despite the difficulties. After that, he trained harder, determined to match up in skill to Dona, who never punished him for mistakes. They were unstoppable for a long time, but they were treated more as weapons than people. May became like a mother to Silas, accepting him after she witnessed his own parents abuse.
There was only one time they’d failed a mission together. They escaped before they could get the consequences for such a fatal error. Silas was positive it was rigged, but Dona refuses to talk about it. (hide spoiler)]

Appearance Description: Silas has defined muscles, but he’s small. He’s shorter and thinner than most men around him - especially his brother - but his definition comes from years of dancing. He has a heart face shape and a perpetual frown. He has sharp angled eyes and pale skin that pinkens easily. His eyes are slate gray but every now and then flecks of gold can be spotted.
Silas’ hair is dyed snow white with a few black sections on the right side. His hair is parted to the right and is straight, long for short hair but not even reaching his shoulders. He has three piercings on one ear and two on the other. A jagged scar is underneath his left eye and there are others on his back, along with obvious burn marks around his neck, wrists, each finger and ankles.
