Dan | 1571 comments What Weird Fiction book do you think the group might be interested in reading for July 2022 together? Please offer up to two nominations in this topic. Assuming we have at least three nominations, we'll start a book poll (hopefully in mid-June) for our July group read.

Zina (dr_zina) | 296 comments I fell so far behind! And now I can't find my Kindle! Oy gevalt!

Dan | 1571 comments I nominate Settling the World: Selected Stories 1970-2020. It's a story collection by M. John Harrison, the author most often credited for creating the genre term "the new weird." This looks like a rather definitive collection in that it encompasses fifty years of work.

Dan | 1571 comments I nominate Black Tide by K.C. Jones. As soon as I get at least one more nomination I can run the poll for next month's group read.

Ronald (rpdwyer) | 89 comments I nominate The Book of Cthulhu, a collection of Lovecraft inspired stories, some of which I read elsewhere.

I like M. John Harrison too.
