Play Book Tag discussion

For me, this series went on too long, I think, at least with this book, and it's mainly a romance novel. I found the first part rather boring, Miles is also rather boring at age 43. There were some good scenes so I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 3.

The romance is between Cordelia and her late husband's male lover/partner and the novel is set on the planet where all of this starts in Shards of Honor which has been settled. She's in charge the planet, he's in charge of the space around it. MIles and his family come for an unannounced visit after and announcment Cordelia makes that doesn't mention Jole at all.
