I loved this story. Each new book seems to add to my enjoyment of the series and the characters. As I finish book I can't wait to read the next book.

I agree. I love the audio. I listen and read. I jump to the book if I need to clarify something or highlight a passage.

I use the eBook when I, finalizing the character list and developing questions.

I enjoyed this story. I listened to the audiobook and I feel like I sometimes miss some major points. Not the audiobook's fault. My mind just tends to wander.

My question is did they close the Monique Rodgers case? I figure that Lopez shot her, but did someone hire him? Was this ever established?

Also, I was surprised by the epilogue. I didn't think Tracy would have the baby for a few books. We didn't get to see how Nolasco handled the fact that she was pregnant. Did she meekly go to her desk and stay for the rest of her pregnancy?

They established that Lopez was the shooter. He was hired by Little Jimmy, who he worked for.

I was surprised we jumped six months, too. Frankly, I think the damage will be done when she returns.

That's what I figure too. Nolasco will find a way to keep her off the streets or something stupid.
