Nathan was playing with his friends on the basketball feild, they were playing tackle football.

((basketball field?? lol))

Karana was running around the track, she had already gone two miles, but she had 3 more miles.

(( stupid autocorrections on my iPad))

Nathan wasn't paying attention to the girl running around the track.

Karana kept running. She watched the football players running around.

Nathan was attacked by his friend and he laughed, they all laughed.

Karana watched them. He was kinda cute.

Nathan attacked his friend, careful not to hurt his friend.

Karana continued to run around the track, she had 2 more miles, so she started to pick up the speed.

Nathan was thrown off and he was rolling towards the track.

Karana stopped so she wouldn't run into him but she stumbled a little anyway.

Nathan hit the bleachers hard, " Damn!" Nathan said in pain and he got up anyways, " Are you alright?" Nathan asked the girl.

"Yea, i'm fine." She got up off the track. "Are you?" She asked. "You hit the bleachers pretty hard."

" Me oh yeah I'm fine, I hit the bleachers all the time when I play football," Nathan said.

"how do you manage that?" She asked.

" Genetics, " Nathan said and then he quickly explained, " My grandpa had a strong back, my father had a strong back and now it got passed down to me,"

"ah." She said. "I have my fair share of those." She looked over at his friends. One was her brother but neither of them ever told anyone.

Nathan looked over at his friends, " I gotta get back to the game before Kyle beats the brains out of me," Nathan said and he jogged off, " Sorry for tripping you!" Nathan said to her.

"It's ok." she smiled and started to run again.

Nathan tackled his friend that made him hit the bleachers.

Karana laughed as she ran.

Nathan was thrown off, but this time he stayed on the feild, he stole the football and ran across the feild to the goal.

Karana was almost done, 1 more mile.

Nathan tripped and he hit his head on the hard pole, the sickening crunch of bone echoing around the football field, Nathan's friends sprinted towards him and they collapsed at his side.

Karana stopped running. She wondered if he was ok, but wasnt sure if she should go over.

" Dude you okay?!" One of the friends asked, they looked at Nathan's head and they almost barfed.

Karana ran to her car and called an ambulance. She walked over to them, she had a little experience, she was red cross certified and was a hospital intern.

Nathan tried to open his eyes, when he did everything was blurry, he felt one of his friends grasp his hand gently into theres, making him stay calm before he panicked.

"Give me your shirt Luke." She says to her brother.

Nathan looked at his friend that held his hand, " Am I dying?" Nathan managed to whisper. They all looked scared when he asked that, " No, no your not Nate, your not going to die,not if I can help it," Nathan's friend, Keith said and he kissed Nathan's hand gently.

Karana took her brother's shirt when he gave it to her and kelt down by Nathan. She pressed it on his head.

Nathan hissed in pain.

"It's ok." SHe looked over her shoulder. "They will be here soon." The blood had soaked the shirt and was starting to get on her hands.

Nathan's friend Keith moved closer, " Don't die on us Bae, don't die," Keith said and Nathan smiled lightly, " I'm not going anywhere without you baby," Nathan said, no he wasn't gay, but his friend was and he wasn't going to break his friend's heart.

"You are no going to die." Karana said for what felt like the 5th time. The ambulance pulled up.

Nathan squeezed Keith's hand, Keith smiled and he stroked Nathan's hair.

The medics came over to them and took put him on a streater, and took him to the ambulance. Karana walked over to a trashcan and threw the shirt away. She watched them load him into the ambulance and close the doors, her hands were still covered in blood.

Keith and two more of Nathan's friends had climbed into the ambulance with him.

Karana watched it drive off and went into the bathroom to wash her hands and head home.

The rest of Nathan's friends paced around the feild.

Karana came back out of the bathroom, maybe she could finish her run. SHe started running again.
