Bidisha Bhattacharyya | 7 comments I need Amazon book reviews for my books "The Girl In The Photo" and "Haiku Love". One is a short horror book, another is a poetry book. I will provide free review copies for the same, and I also up for review swaps with other authors.

That violate’s Amazon’s TOS and can get your KDP account banned.

You can use a service like NetGalley to offer free books to genuine readers for honest reviews.

You can check Amazon's TOS to be certain, but I've never had problems with people who won contests leaving a review. You can give away copies for reviews. You don't have to use NetGalley or other expensive review sites. They need to mention that they got a free copy for an honest review.

Amazon does not like author swaps. These are again the TOS. You're better off not even asking other authors to review your book even if it's not a swap.

message 6: by Sandy (new)

Sandy Lender (fantasyauthorsandylender) | 5 comments Cassie, You're probably getting inundated with responses at this point. I have the ARCs for the three books in a trilogy that is being released by Seventh Star Press within the next month. (all 3 books) I'd be delighted to have you read and review the first or all three. I've sent you a friend request and we can discuss this by direct message if you wish. The ARCs are available right now but I've not offered them to anyone else yet...You would be the first.

Hi Jill, I published a 150-page African American Historical Fiction story. Are you interested in reading it for a review?

message 13: by Lena (new)

Lena Tasi | 3 comments Dear GoodReaders -

My short novel The Meeting Tree released at the end of November, and I'd love some reviews from anyone who's interested in fiction with some action, a battle between good and evil, and strong female characters/female heroes.

It's a coming of age story set a few generations in the future when a strict patriarchal government has come to power in the US. The government gets a little too comfortable in its reign, however, and its foot soldiers aren't prepared for what happens when they take things a step too far in front of the wrong person.

I can send you a PDF, mobi, or epub file upon request.

Thank you!
Lena

message 19: by Christian (new)

Christian Fennell (christianfennell) | 19 comments If interested... I'll send you an ebook for review:

The Fiddler in the Night

FYI: *There's some violence.

"In essence, the author has created a work of art in word form."
- The US Review of Books

"At times THE FIDDLER IN THE NIGHT is a thriller reminiscent of the dark, intense work of Cormac McCarthy. At times it’s a coming-of-age tale, or a precise portrait of middle America. It manages to be all these things, while also telling an absorbing story. This is a cat-and-mouse tale set in grand, lonely landscapes and peopled with characters that feel achingly real."
- Neon Books, UK

"Haunting and ethereal, Fennell's stand-alone The Fiddler in the Night is a masterpiece of reflection that is at once gritty, disturbing, and hard to put down."
- Midwest Book Review

Regina B. Stclair | 5 comments Hi @everyone

I’m really glad to join this group and connect with so many amazing authors. I work in book marketing, and one of the areas I specialize in is creating book trailers — short, cinematic videos that bring a story to life and help it stand out on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Goodreads.

I’ve had the chance to work on a couple of successful projects already, and I’ve seen how much a well-made trailer can spark curiosity and engagement. I’d love to learn more about your books, your marketing experiences, and what strategies have (or haven’t) worked for you.

If anyone’s curious to see an example, I’m happy to share one of my previous trailers — not as a sales pitch, but just as inspiration for how books can be presented visually.

Looking forward to learning and exchanging ideas with you all!

Best,
[Your Name]
