What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Looking to get some help from you experts! A friend is looking for a book she would've read as a teenager, around 2006ish. I've looked as much as I can, and haven't come up with anything that seems fitting. Hoping one of you might know the book she's looking for! Below is her description of the book.

"It's a brother and sister, both blonde I think? Older sister, younger brother. It's from the brother's perspective but I don't remember if it was first or third person. There is a magical element, but I don't remember if they have powers, or just the girl. At one point in the story, they realize there are 6 consecutive timelines all running at once with 6 different versions of them, but the girl was one timeline off. She has this magical mirror I think, that she can travel through? She wants to get to the world of magic, another sister has parents she hates and wants to go to the world where they are orphans, another is an orphan and wants parents. I forget about the conclusion of the book though "
