This thread is where you can chat about all things PIFM, ask questions and once books have been read, review your selected reads. A complete free for all.

PLEASE NOTE:

PIFM is meant to be FUN and not to be taken seriously. I would appreciate it if all participants just chilled and not get worked up about voting, who votes, who doesn't, etc. Please bear in mind that some will just want to vote, many don't come on everyday and most of us have time constraints. I just want a relaxed approach to it all and for you all to just enjoy the process! I'd really appreciate your courtesy in this matter. Many thanks.

Stacey | 3 comments How do I vote for October's read? The House on Needless Street looks good.

Agnieszka (agnieszka7) | 1462 comments In this challenge you don't vote for a book of the month but pick a book from the lists of participants. You place votes in the thread https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/....

Should you wish to post you own list for October (though I'm not sure if you get many votes this late in September) you can do it in this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Please keep in mind to use one message only in those two threads (Month Year Read & Place Your Month Year Selection Here) and update those as people post their lists/vote on your list. In case you're using mainly mobile app: this is only possible in the browser version of the GR page (mobile apps don't provide the option to edit posted messages)

Sophie | 1126 comments How is everyone getting on with their October reads? I'm just about to start my winner, The Whistling, ahead of Halloween!

Is anyone doing anything fun for Halloween this year?

The Atlantis Cipher (The Relic Hunters #2) by David Leadbeater
An action adventure book which can be read as a stand alone novel as well.
Three stars for the effort.

No! I don't like Halloween at all, so I try my best to avoid it as much as possible :-D

Right now my life's so unpredictable I can't plan very well, so I'm happy I didn't post a list for October. I won't do it for November and December either but hope it gets a bit better in the new year.

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I finished Most Wanted. It was good, not excellent. I am currently trying to get through An Instance of the Fingerpost. It is really good and illustrates the brilliance of the author. It happens to be in excess of 700 pages though. That is why I am struggling.
