lila (perksofbeinglila) Hi! I'm Summer, and I'm interested in reading fantasy romance books, dark romance and contemporary romance. Explicit is also good :). Not necessary, though.

Byron Fortin (byronfortin) | 67 comments Hi Summer,
I write dark fantasy that involves elements of paranormal romance. My series in currently five books deep, with my newest entry, Crescent Moon, Mourning Son: Part I, released earlier this month.

I have provided descriptions of the first and the latest books below, so you can see if it's your cup of tea. Please note, there is some explicit content.

BOOK I

Through the Psyche of Ambrosia: Part I

Raised by his Mothers on the principles of the Goddess, but not one to believe, Ambrosia longs for the day when he can free himself of faith completely. Mona, a family friend, offers to grant his wish.

He arrives in the city of Hartland where he meets a number of intriguing characters, including the Frenchmen Gany, and clairvoyant, Gliese. There is also a set of twins, for whom Ambrosia soon builds a rapport. There's the ever introverted Summer, and her more outgoing sister, Star.

Soon strange things start to happen that can't be explained. A house seems to change on its own, while nightmares spill over into the waking world. It forces Ambrosia to face reality.

Either magic exists and the myths are real, or he's lost his mind completely.

The answer will bring him to his knees.

BOOK V

Crescent Moon, Mourning Son: Part I

A storm is coming...

The earth is in dire straits. The Apocalypse has come and Ambrosia stands face to face with a Celestial asking him to make a choice. There is a terror lurking in the midst. There is darkness in the shadow. Foes so formidable as to frighten other Numani, guardians of the realm. For they wield a very powerful weapon. The anomaly has been awoken. It threatens to destroy the very fabric of existence as it is known.

Yet there is still hope. When secrets are revealed, one finds they are more than they seem. Still, will it be enough to overcome the odds, or is the future already set in stone? The Goddess has a plan for us all.

It is this new book that I'm looking to get reviewed. If interested, I could send a free copy in whatever format you prefer. Though it is part of a series, I believe it stands well enough on its own. I can also provide a brief description of the story so far leading up to this point, if that is your choosing.

If it doesn't sound like it's up your alley, no worries. Regardless of your decision, I just want to say thank-you for the generous offer! Cheers.

B.C. Taylor (bctaylor) | 14 comments Hi Summer,

My debut YA fantasy novel, THE LOST WITCH, just released yesterday, but I am still looking for reviewers if you are interested. This is book one of the 5 book series: HAYDEN BLACK AND THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS.

You said you're looking for fantasy romance, so full disclosure, while there is romance in the novel, these are kids, so it's not very prominent. If it's not what you're looking for, I totally understand, I figured I should ask anyway!

Below is the cover and book blurb. If you're interested in reading, send me your email address or you can email me directly at [email protected]. Thanks!

The Lost Witch (Hayden Black and the Salem Witch Trials, #1) by B.C. Taylor

Five deadly Trials. An ancient, sinister evil.

One lost witch with the power to save the world.

Welcome to Asylum.

Twelve-year-old Hayden Black has never been normal, that much she knew, but when her father is abducted by demons, she learns just how remarkable she truly is. Not only is she a witch, but Heaven’s angels have chosen her as the next Salem Witch, destined to protect the world from evil… if she can survive the deadly Salem Witch Trials first.

Now Hayden must traverse the magical world of Asylum and learn to use her powers. If she doesn’t master all five elements — air, fire, water, earth, and Spirit — before her seventeenth birthday, she forfeits her life.

Hayden might have started her journey orphaned and alone, but it doesn’t take her long to forge new friendships and attract new enemies. Hayden thought her only nemesis was the residential bully, but her greatest enemy, a terrible evil lurking in the shadows, has yet to reveal itself.

Will Hayden master her air magic in time to save her friends and find her father? Or will she perish alongside them?

The Lost Witch is the first book in an urban fantasy series intended for readers ages ten and above who love Percy Jackson and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Alex Pearl (alexpearl) | 4 comments My latest novel A BRAND TO DIE FOR is the first comic murder mystery set in the advertising industry (circa 1983) since Dorothy L. Sayers penned MURDER MUST ADVERTISE. If you'd like a FREE copy to review, please email me at: [email protected] BLURB:
WORKING IN ADVERTISING CAN BE MURDER - LITERALLY.

It’s 1983. Margaret Thatcher has been waging war on the Argentinians in the Falkland Islands. The miners are about to wage war on Margaret Thatcher. And Angus Lovejoy, once sent down from Charterhouse for shagging the Chancellor's daughter in the cricket pavilion, has now landed a job as a copywriter at London adland’s creative hot shop Gordon Deedes Rutter where he is teamed up with art director Brian Finkle whose neurotic Jewish parents are the bane of his life. The two are an unlikely duo, but their mischievous and sardonic take on the world makes them a brilliant creative team. Everything goes swimmingly until a bizarre and mysterious murder rocks the world of Gordon Deedes Rutter and ripples out into the national media.

While the dearth of evidence leaves the police baffled, Lovejoy and Finkle take it upon themselves to apply their creative brains to solve the mystery, and in so doing, inadvertently get themselves into particularly deep water.

Book Blurb:

An elegant dress, a paid-for hotel room, and a night out with my boyfriend? What could possibly go wrong?

Around We Go tells the story of Allie, a journalist desperately in need of a good night out. Uninspired at her job and yearning for adventure, she attends the opening of the hotel that her boyfriend helped develop.
