Did you get your book? I actually ended up listening to something else on my trip so we'll be on the same page when we start

No not yet... says it will probably be here between 9 and 12 December. So shouldn't be that long now but again you're welcome to start already and I'll catch up when it gets here

Lol yeah now that you mention it, what was the Seer stone for? All that was apparently needed was Aurox all along (yes he's Old Magick and I guess she learned about Old Magick through the stone but still)

Well I think she did become the high priestess of North America... also was that really necessary. Just sticking it to the Vampire Council for no reason. But yeah in the end it wasn't really Zoey that defeated Neferet, it was Aurox lol

Haha omg noooo I just meant I really didn't think it was necessary for them to make a whole new council just because they didn't like the one in Venice. Like how immature and petty. The Venice one was supposed to be for all vampires so international I think... they just didn't like that they didn't help them

yeah it's a little petty but i can also see where theyre coming from to make it local more so then saying heck with you guys.. but also heck with you guys for not helping when they clearly can manage it themselves

Sure but I don't think their intention was to make it more local... I think it was becuase they felt the Venice council was too far removed from the modern world. Which yeah I guess is kind of true but still that doesn't mean you have to make your own council and basically break with the entire vampire wold. But maybe that's not what happened, we only saw that it was established not how it happened

i mean it might be what happened but i'm hoping its more because its local but I can also Zoey specifically having a grudge about it and being that petty to remove them from it

Oh yeah I definitely don't think it was just to be local. I'm betting it was because Zoey was being petty and thought she could do it better. One of her reasonings that she could do it better might be because it would be more local though

I just got my audiobook loan for Untamed. :) so far, the narrator is different from the other books....not sure how i feel about the new narrator
