Sher Davidson (goodreadscomsher-davidson) | 7 comments The last book I read was Good Night Irene by Luis Alberto Urrea, fascinating historical fiction and part biography of Urrea's mother's experience serving in WWII with the Red Cross as one of the "Doughnut Dollies." That was the nickname given to a courageous group of women who risked their lives commanding military vehicles called "Clubmobiles" from which they served doughnuts and coffee to soldiers and pilots on the front lines of the war. A great read.

Rami (ramiego) | 9 comments Currently reading "Strange Sally Diamond" by Liz Nugent. Half way through and am already hooked. I am a BIG fan of Nugent's writing especially, and Irish authors in general.
I have read and loved all her back list, this one just recently published, and I couldn't wait long enough to jump on it.

Amanda Koogler | 2 comments The Pike Boys - I received this book from the author as an advanced reader copy and let me just say it did not disappoint. Set in 1920’s New Orleans and the amount of detail and development of the characters had me easily turning pages and feeling like I was there! Great read to check out.

Just finished reading Spare by Prince Harry. Diving into British history has intrigued me for a long time. It's a long book but easy to read and a page turner as well.
