For one of the tasks for the Chrysso Spider, I was thinking that if one of you read a book (since the 15th) that had a character blushing, that would work for "rapidly change color when disturbed".

I haven't run across it, but...

This bearcat's having fun! I've liked everything I've read for the challenge so far, the standout being the audiobook for I'm Glad My Mom Died - I couldn't stop listening.

I'm on track to finish the 3 books I have on the tracker for March, and may be able to get in 1 more that has shifter characters, so could use for any of the Mini characteristic slots. The weather is supposed to be rainy today and tomorrow, so chances of doing lots of reading are high :)

*sigh* i was an idiot and didn't save spots and now it's all finished.

I found this series that is a collection of short stories and each book has a colored cover and they're around 130pages each. I put the yellow covered one i just finished, in the overflow books and i already reserved a couple of spots for April.

I'm starting Hell Bent today but i should only finish it in April. I've been taking a lot longer to read books nowadays.

the only thing i can see it fitting (for the not yet finished books) would be Killers of a Certain Age for the camouflage thing on the octopus.. but we already have a camouflage one.

I only read three books this month anyway x_x but all the books are filled and that's all that matters =)

How is it the end of March already?!?!? I have one more book to finish and all my spots are complete. This month kicked my rear end and I didn't read as much as I wanted.

Lots of all of the above! NyQuil is my bestest friend! Work said I can come back on Friday! So I countered with how about Monday?? Don’t want to push the recovery time, right? Going to take a PCR test tomorrow at a hospital to make sure. I’m fully immunized (5 shots total ) I work for the Dept. of Health at a damned hospital and I STILL caught it. This is my 2nd time. 1st time was Christmas 2021. Just lovely….

I am thrilled to start and , two new books by two of my favorite authors.

For those of you who haven't given them a try, I highly recommend from Victor LaValle and by Tiffany McDaniel.

Thanks Jenny! I put On the Savage Side on my library holds, so hopefully I get it this month for a Reverse :) I keep pushing a couple doorstopper books to deliver after Uno ends.

I'm looking forward to reading A Prayer for the Crown-Shy this month and have been enjoying listening to books while knitting.
