Most people make resolutions for the new year. This year, your HOB mods have made one. Our goal is to bring you more challenges and more variety. So with that in mind, we hope you will find something here that will help you achieve your reading goals for the new year.

Reminders & Announcements
🎉Readers Take Denver 2023 We have been made aware of this special Readers event. If you are going to be in the Denver area from March 30- April 2 or can arrange to attend, this event will have over 200 authors that you can meet in person!
🎉Theme Wars: Aviation winners are Team Wright Brothers! Congrats to our winners and thanks to everyone who participated.
🎉Theme Wars: A Christmas Carol winners will be announced on January 2nd
🎉Theme Wars: Harry Potter teams will be posted on December 26th. Please be sure to check into your teams.

🎉Readathon Minis. These are just a small little optional challenge added to the readathons to shake things up a little.
Monthly – This will be freeform, read and record as usual.
Weekly – Set a personal reading goal for the week.
Weekend – Read as many pages as you can in 48 hours.
24 hour – Challenge yourself to finish at least one book.

🎉Listopia Madness Do you like to read books from Goodreads lists? This challenge is for you. It will run monthly. The top 3 scorers each month will choose a list for the next month!

Two Month
🎉Dark Christmas Calling all monster hunters! This time we are hunting legendary Christmas monsters. Come join us as we save Christmas! Runs December - January
🎉Read Your Enneagram Challenge This fun challenge based on a personality theory will have you learning new & fun things about yourself. What is your type? Runs January - February

Three Month
🎉Wonderful Winter Bingo A wonderful winter themed bingo challenge. Runs December - February
🎉Boggle We are bringing this challenge back as a quarterly challenge. You will see a new board every 3 months. Come join us as we play this classic game! Quarter 1 runs January - March
