ugh, this is awful

the competition to date every guy Joe even metions
the weird not remembering the name to any blond, just referring to them ALL as Swede and then a number

just gross

(view spoiler)[ and Chapter 6 and their going to bars was completely purposeless
as was the whole blow by blow if his meeting and being unhappy with his life

I can't believe his only friend is someone he doesn't even really want to spend time with and instead is just constantly measuring their success and trying to "beat" him. it's so weird (hide spoiler)]

I don't understand Mary playing putput golf with him. that was so weird
and then Lauren wanting John. Is that just because of his money? and I don't see why they aren't talking abou the wedding or the house?! They don't have a good set up to start Yikes (hide spoiler)]

I didn't see the point to this story! Just to have the irony twist that John didn't get his MRI because of the Y2K and him NOT taking that job!?!

Oh yikes. You both rated it one star! Glad I skipped this one now, but sorry you both had to trudge through it. Good on you both for finishing it!
