Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
I have one for that old prompt and it works for a V for UNO. It keeps getting bumped for other tasks. Hopefully I’ll get it done in April.

message 558: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments I put a hold in for a Korean and set in Greece one but the holds are 6 and 4 weeks respectively so if anyone finds one before then, go for it.

message 559: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments I got us a new one:

Protomolecule (Expanse)

Form of hivemind in the book
Tagged "Series-to-read" at least 10 times - must be new to you series
"microorganism" or "microbe" in text

message 560: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Also, I keep reading a book that works days before. I did this for both political and hive-mind.

message 561: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments That has happened to me a few times as well.

message 562: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Two new ones:

Count Magpyr & Family
200-299

modernization a plot element (your interpretation. could be house refurb or new computer system)

message 563: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments Thanks Lexi!
I was going to spin, and I got distracted, and then forgot. Brains.

message 564: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Would you all take decomposing for decompose? I have a lot of things decomposing in my current non-fiction and can move it off bird on cover, which seems easier.

message 565: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
Yes, I think that’s fine

message 566: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Thank you and Happy Easter

message 567: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments I hope the Easter Bunny was good to all of you today.

Happy Easter!

I think I will buy myself a chocolate egg today. even though I don't celebrate this holiday, childhood memories of it are fun. Dyeing eggs, hunting for baskets, etc. And of course, the amazing hats worn in church. Now I want brunch.

Hope you all have a lovely Easter.

message 568: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments That sound fun, Jenny. Target carried chocolate Highland cattle, which we got for my sister's three kids. I have no idea if the chocolate was any good, but they were very cute.

message 569: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
Those do sound cute. Cameron is still into Paw Patrol and I happened to find a chocolate Chase and Marshall at Walgreens and they weren't all that big. So I got those instead of a chocolate bunny for his Easter basket.

And we had a fun egg hunt here at the house. Overall he had a good haul and we've had some chocolate negotiations.

message 570: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments My sister is attempting to wean her kids off Paw Patrol and now they can only watch it on weekends for their 10 min a day each. I wasn't part of the egg hunt this year here and glad you had fun.

message 571: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 3092 comments Google says these are the same thing - would you allow the switch?

"tiny single-celled organisms" versus microorganism

message 572: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Nope, sorry, I wrote the task and it is meant to be hard

message 573: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 3092 comments No worries, just thought I'd ask.

Angie ☯ | 3092 comments Question - would "ax" be accepted for "axe" in text?

Full text for context: "We will chop it open with an ax."

I added it to the SS, but will remove it if it isn't allowed.

message 587: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 3092 comments I completed "Autons" and "James Bond" - if anyone wants to spin for 2 new ones. Wasn't sure if we have a method for choosing which wheel to spin!

message 588: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Hi all,

Now that TTs is over, we have two location tasks that someone might have read.
1. Has anyone read a Taiwan, Japan or Korea book since July 15?
(We spun that country earlier so not helpful there)
2. Takes place in Australia - Judith's BOM works for Tasmania which is more specific but if anyone has this one since July 27?

message 592: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments I am reading a Japan book right now, so if no one has a read one to claim, it will be claimed soon.
Australia, nope.

message 593: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 3092 comments I don't have any either within those dates.

message 594: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
Nope, but I have like 30 minutes left on my EB author so we can finally kill off that monster we’ve had since December

So that’s something!

message 595: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments Thank you and Judith, I hope you liked that book better than I did

message 596: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
It’s fine. I’m not sure the author quite knew what type of book they were writing

message 597: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
I’ve finished the book but internet just went out because of a bad thunderstorm if someone wants to get a new monster

message 598: by Lexi (new)

message 599: by Lexi (new)
