Ok! So I have two options we can choose from or I can find more haha

1) Muse A was born with a goddesses blood, making them a witch. The king kills their mother and takes Muse A to live in the palace, keeping them a secret in the courts and using Muse A for spells and other magical needs in a world where magic is rare. The kings child is Muse B, who, when they're older, decides to free Muse A and make a run for it. (The king could also be a queen instead.)

This one is more medieval, 2) A royal family has 12 sons (or daughters) and must decide who will get the throne. To make it equal, each royal must pick a common person from the kingdom to compete in a series of tests of strength, wit, and (possibly magic idk). Muse A, one of these royals, stumbles across Muse B, a peasant, and finds them charming. Mentioning them to their family later that day, they accidentally enter Muse B in the contest.
