Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

This doesn't really fall under "policies & practices" but there isn't a folder that works better for this - currently, my author name is "D.C. Renee" (with the periods), but when i publish books/etc, I tend to get rid of the periods - DC Renee, so I wanted to go ahead & remove them from my author name, but it says I need librarian status to do so. Please help. Also, how will that affect my current books under D.C.? thanks!

Then I posted it under the correct folder :)
My issue w/leaving the periods in my name is that there have been a couple times where goodreads doesnt recognize that DC Renee (from amazon for example) and D.C. Renee are one and the same & then there are multiple copies of my books floating around & I dont notice them. Please advise. thanks!

If books import with a different form of your name, starting a new thread in Book Issues here with link(s) to any affected book(s) should get quick assistance from a librarian.
