Rita a Navajo is a forensic photographer for the Albuquerque police department. Much of her job requires her to photograph the dead and she sees ghosts.

Shutter certainly captures the grisliness of the occupation, but it also tells an interesting back story of Rita Todacheene's life. I couldn't help but to root for her and I think that she is a great character.

I recommend it to somebody with a strong stomach.
