Chasity My goal is to read 30 books for the year 2015 though I'm having a little bit of a slow start. I'm including graphic novels in my count though some people might see this as cheating but I think the important thing to count one is that you experienced a story and were introduced to new ideas.

Like I said, slow start so far this year but so far I've read:
1) The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan
2) The Night Bookmobile by Audrey Niffenegger
3) The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

Next on my list are:
4) Not Simple by Natsume Ono
5) The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
6) The Body Electric by Beth Revis
7) Perdido Street Station by China Mieville

Chasity Just an update on progress. I read Not Simple by Natsume Ono which was really wonderful and heart-wrenching though I felt like it left a little bit to be desired and would have liked it more as a book where there could be more analysis of the characters and be able to get inside their heads more.

Read The Wise Man's Fear which turned out to be even better than The Name of the Wind surprisingly as it gave a wider view of the world created by Rothfuss and continued to present amazing characters and new cultures to explore.

I got a little distracted at this point. I found out about a short story written by Rothfuss called The Slow Regard of Silent Things which is about the minor character Auri from the main series. Thoroughly enjoyed it even though it was a bit experimental in terms that there was no real plot and is from the perspective of a character who is quite mad.

Still working on The Body Electric which I have been enjoying okay but it's on the computer since I bought the ebook when it was on sale for 99 cents and I think I have trouble concentrating while reading on the computer because there are too many distractions.

Just started Perdido Street Station which is fascinating if a bit graphic for my tastes. Still, definitely interested and I'll keep going even though it's also a bit dense and a bit of a challenge for my vocabulary. But that's where we grow, right?

Still two books behind on the challenge due to lack of concentration some days and also long books.

Completed List:
The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan
The Night Bookmobile by Audrey Niffenegger
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
Not Simple by Natsume Ono
The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss

Currently Reading:
The Body Electric by Beth Revis
Perdido Street Station by China Mieville

Next:
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
Shaman's Crossing by Robin Hobb
