This book was making all the rounds in sciencey-anthropology podcast circles. Quite poetic in places. Ends with him defending his weird plan in a university dinner setting. It’s pretty clear he was invited to be the resident idiot and his host was annoyed when he didn’t quite play the part.
It’s about trying to learn to see the world in the way our ancestors saw it. With the scarcity of food, and relationship to nature.
