Export: The Good, The Bad, and The Weird discussion

For easy reference, I’ve attempted to list what’s NOT in an export file, as compared to the information that’s available when viewing a book record or edition list or shelf on Goodreads.

Sort-by title
ASIN
Description [the edition-specific or default book description]
Edition
Edition language
Multiple read dates
Original title
Awards
Characters
Book settings
Series [the field under "original title" on a book page]

Note: The series name (and number) appears in the title, but only if the shelved edition has the correct series information in the title. Many editions don’t. The data from the "Series" field is not included in the export file.

Also missing:
Cover image [but I suspect that this is a deliberate omission]
