From this, I take it that Beth's baby has arrived? Congratulations to her and her 'expanded family'! (I love the way you phrased that!)
currently reading: Be a Woman of God Devotional: A 365 Day Devotional Dedicated To Women, I'll Be There
up next: Peace in the Valley, After the Shadows, Dear Canada: These Are My Words: The Residential School Diary of Violet Pesheens {GM YA}, A Novel Proposal
{GM YA}
planning on: The Amish Bride of Ice Mountain, Critical Threat, Deadly Competition, Wilderness Peril
hoping for: Love Finds You in Hershey, Pennsylvania, The Masquerade, Their Pretend Amish Courtship
There will also be a hidden gem as well as a TBD 'genre surprise' in there as well . . . a long list for me this coming month, so some of these titles may need to be held over to September.

Congratulations Beth!! Can't wait to see some pictures of your new little one.

Is the movie based on this? I love that movie!"
Yes ma’am, it is. And, the book is based on E. R. Braithwaite’s real life experience, which I never knew. I just thought it was all fiction until reading this.

'It is a troubling hour in the United Kingdom as the clouds of a dark zeitgeist roll over the face of sun. This dystopian YA novel is set in 2040, after section 44, new laws making it illegal to ‘express a thought that could be deemed offensive to another group’, have been enacted...'

Looks interesting and maybe a little bit scary! It hits a bit close to home.

I won't get to any of my other planned books - for the rest of the month I'm focused on the monthly challenge reading authors with vowels.
Therefore I'll be focused on reading these:

August Finishes: I'll Be There, Peace in the Valley, After the Shadows, These Are My Words: The Residential School Diary of Violet Pesheens {GM mid-grade clean}, Love Finds You in Hershey, Pennsylvania, A Novel Proposal, Critical Threat, Deadly Competition, Their Pretend Amish Courtship, Jeremy: The Tale of An Honest Bunny, Love Without End, Like the Wind, Wilderness Peril
{GM mid-grade clean},
Though I ended up making a few changes to my original plans, I definitely got more read in August than I thought I would!
