It is Saturday!

Which means that our first round will be ending today, and we'll dive straight into round two.

Please remember to post any and all completion posts for the first round before 9pm UK time tonight. Preferably quite a bit earlier so Melinda can update the spreadsheet before we have to check in. I will be out tonight and probably not back by the time the deadline rolls around and it is late in the evening for Melinda.

If you cannot manage to finish your book before, no matter!! Finish it after the deadline and it will count for round two :-)

One more thing:
For the locations in round two: if anyone has a book set in Paris they really, really want to read, shout out, and I'll gladly give you that spot and I'll read something else instead :-)

So far, we have 9 locations unless I miscounted hehe. Melinda will post an update on this later in the day.

Vi, we are on round two now and have been for an hour, approximately.

If you finished it before the deadline, then we will unfortunately not be able to use it.
If you finished it after the deadline, we're good to go for round two with it :-)

Shoot, you guys... I hadn't checked in for a couple of days and thought I had more time to post. I did finish round 1 books over the last couple days but they can't count if they weren't posted prior to the end? Sorry, hadn't realized that was the rule.

I will dig up a red book or two and luckily I'll finish something tonight that I can at least start off with round two.

it's a pity, but unfortunately it cannot be helped. :(

We also did posts about it, but if you check the summary tab of our official ss, the mods set it up with all the start/end dates and countdowns for all rounds as well. You can also consult that when in doubt.

Books both need to be finished and reported before the cutoff to count.

No, I knew the end of the round was coming, but in the other challenge I’m doing it’s okay to report after. I must have gotten it jumbled in my mind. I’ll know going forward!

I just read my first Betty Neels book and it was a relaxing, cosy read for in-between heavier books. I will probably check out some more.

9 PM UK time is 10 PM CET and not the other way around - I got confused. I finished after 10 pm CET (around the time I posted) so it'll qualify for second round I guess. Sorry for the confusion.

I started reading her a month or so ago.. I liked her best so far.

I always get confused with the various times, too. And I should be used to it with all the challenges, but nope! hehe

Vi, what's the page count of the book? There is nothing on the book's page for the edition you've read.

I changed the edition to what I read. It's 192 pages.
