What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book (from the library) in the late 1970's or very early 1980's as a small child. The part I remember is that this woman was in her home...and it was something to the effect of the phone rang, which woke up her baby, which made the dog bark, which started the bird squawking which etc etc, until the whole house was chaotic. the pictures were fairly modern for the time, bright and colorful. I remember thinking it was so much fun to follow along with as a child and looking for it for my god son's birthday....who knows it might be out of print...ring a bell for anyone!?!

Found it tonight on my hometown's library page...it is called "At Mary Bloom's"
