So far I have read 4 of her books since I started the first one over 2 years ago. They were all 4 and 5 stars for me.
I hope you will enjoy her writing!!

Love her writing, the Sun Down Motel is one of my favorites so am so looking forward to some Murder Road creepiness!

I'm reading her Sun Down Motel with a book club while I'm number two on my library wait list for this new one! Looking forward to joining in, eventually! I loved her Broken Girls book. 5-stars

I really like this author. I’d love to read this one with the group but unsure if I’ll have the time.

I liked Sun Down Motel enough (didn't love it, but found it an enjoyable read) that I'm interested in this one. I have some travel time coming up so I hope my library holds come in before next week. I think her style is good airplane reading.

I just got notice from the library that my hold is waiting, and I wasn't expecting it in time for the group read so that was good news. I have to finish The Angel of Indian Lake (hopefully this week) and I'll start Murder Road soon. I

Got this on Sunday but was finishing my current read Necroscope 1, just about to start. Sounds interesting hope it's good, I have never read anything by the author before

Finished in two days. Interested in hearing from others. I enjoyed, but it isn't my favorite of hers.

Just finished! I finished it faster than I expected and I was engrossed in the mystery of this one.

I was laughing at most of their shenanigans and gumption. I can see them having a true crime podcast if the book was set during now. hahaha! (hide spoiler)]

Eddie - (view spoiler)[I had a feeling the Lost Girl was his Mom. Not a big shocker for me but it was a nice plot twist to the story (hide spoiler)]

Rose - (view spoiler)[When her B&B got shot up and Princess Diana's picture got destroyed, I looked up when she died. It was around a year later. I liked how St. James added in that bit of premonition to the story concerning her. (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad I read this one. I thought the plot, characters and the mystery of the (view spoiler)[Lost Girl (hide spoiler)] was well done.

This is indeed a fast-paced quick read. Burned through over half of it tonight. Creepy supernatural element, protagonists who have some deep dark secrets, a town with incompetent police, leaving it up to the protags to solve it. Really digging it thus far.

LOL! That is SO relatable!!!!

About half way through; I am intrigued and looking forward to discussing!

Finished, because it was really a fast-paced story that kept me hooked. While it seemed like the tale should be wrapping up soon after the midway point, it threw curve after curve the last 40% of the way, most of which I never saw coming. Really unexpected answers to its mysteries. 4.5/5*

If you ever start to write book cover blurbs I'm in trouble because I will buy every single book those would be on.
