I've never read her before but she's so beloved, and def a theme that I personally enjoy. Thanks for being here :)

Awesome!! Hope we all have a great or rather awful(?) journey with this one :P Nothing like a nice bone chilling read during Spring.

So far I have read 4 of her books since I started the first one over 2 years ago. They were all 4 and 5 stars for me.
I hope you will enjoy her writing!!

I really like this author. I’d love to read this one with the group but unsure if I’ll have the time.

I like the dedication page -
"For anyone who was told they're weird because they read too much.
Because you're not, and you don't."

This is indeed a fast-paced quick read. Burned through over half of it tonight. Creepy supernatural element, protagonists who have some deep dark secrets, a town with incompetent police, leaving it up to the protags to solve it. Really digging it thus far.

Nice :) I have to wait till my kid is napping, the moment I hold a physical book in my hands he wants to draw in it

Finished, because it was really a fast-paced story that kept me hooked. While it seemed like the tale should be wrapping up soon after the midway point, it threw curve after curve the last 40% of the way, most of which I never saw coming. Really unexpected answers to its mysteries. 4.5/5*
