Great :-). Sounds like we have many potential books of the month or buddy reads already there to pick from.
I have to find some free time to type the rest of the series that are on the list, we'll see what more goodies do you have stashed.

Taking a break now, but the rest of the list follows soon, I promise :-).

I own THREE out of 4 of the Hell's Riders MC Series

That's it, folks. If and when I find another series that belongs on here, I'll definitively add it, and in the meantime, I hope to see some new to me series from other members' favorites.

I've got about 18 different Royal Bastards MC books (seems to be a rather popular name) by various authors. My Kindle says that I wasn't particularly impressed by either of them. My memory draws blank - which is consistent with me not being particularly impressed.

I'll look up your other books in the last post tomorrow

The weather's been crazy this year. Well, the last several years really. We've really done and messed up the climate for good I think.

Yet there's people still with their heads stuck in the sand about it.
The internet still wasn't working this morning but I finally got it to work by unplugging and resetting it.

Head stuck in the sand is an amazingly comfortable position for most people. No wonder we're then left trying to converse with their butts. And getting nowhere.

Agree.
And I hate talking to Asses!

Most of the times, I try to remind myself that it's not worth it to try anymore at all. We all know that asses don't have ears and it will lead nowhere. But sometimes I forget and waste time and energy which I will never get back...

Sometimes I just stare at them while I imagine slamming their heads into things.
Like walls, desk etc.
Sometimes my brain is working and I say things that throw them for a loop
Other times I just tell them their being naïve or stupid or ignorant
I never know HOW I'm going to react.
Nor what I will say.

That's the way to go :-). Keep 'em on their toes.

Sounds interesting, gonna have to check it out (penis loving fish? really? :-D). Haven't read that author yet, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Yes, I know. Lol .

I'll be thinking about what exactly is that penis loving fish all about till I read it (don't tell me, I want to be surprised :-), and am quite enjoying my current puzzled state). Talk about a way to make the blurb interesting :-).

So I've been all about cleaning up space on my Kindle lately. What does it have to do with this book? Well, as it turns out, a lot. With time, I've accumulated tons of biker romances. And I do mean I've got a lot of 'em downloaded - it's over 90 folders, each containing between several and a hundred books. My method is as follows - when I read something that I especially like for whatever reason, I leave the download for later, so I can reread whenever the time comes. Well, since I've been doing this for years, and with years we all kinda evolve - at least I like to hope so- there are some books stored that are not quite so great as I once thought. (Is it just me or did you notice it too - kind of getting a bit jaded with reading, and what you once thought epic, is now just average or subpar, and you need quite a lot more excellence to be impressed?) So I've decided to finally do the reread part. But only of the books which I can't remember in details for whatever reason. Which is, it turns out, quite a lot of them. And I reread a lot of mediocre books lately. Deleted them all. And got frustrated, till I picked up this one. And could slip into it like in a favorite, comfortable shoe. I sighed. And thought, contentedly - now, that's how it's done. Without having to struggle through all the books I've read before it, I don't think I'd be able to appreciate this one fully, but boy oh boy there's some good writing in this short - but not too short, it's just as it should be - read. And it's not just that, like a lot of prequels in an MC books series, it brings us back in time of Vietnam war, which is one of my favorite time periods to read about. It's the characters. They come alive from the first page and pull you in. You can taste, feel and smell everything, if you allow yourself to do it. And they're real. Strong. And the connection between Twitch and Shirlene is so vibrant, hot, but also has just the right amount of sweet thrown in. This story, if you let it, will make you feel just a little bit redeemed.

I've been reading through this series, and while first 4 books were good and engaging, they were still missing that certain something that hits the spot just right. And then finally, book 5 hit the spot completely (don't worry, it works well as standalone too, but it's not like first 4 aren't worth reading). Loved the characters, the plot, everything. And it had just the right amount of biker wisdom interspersed to make it an educational experience on dealing with the loss and various messes in life, and we all need some of that, sooner or later. Doc has been like a regular biker Joda in this one, and it helped the story wonderfully.
