Like the author's first book, Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone,this is a very "meta" book, satirizing the genre while it uses it. I thought it was a bit too cute. Mystery writers are holding a conference on a train across Australia. When people start dying, the remaining writers want to play detective and write the authoritative account. The hero once again finds himself dealing with dead bodies and unreliable narrations, but this time he is also trying to find the opportunity to propose to his girffriend. A quick read, but as with the first book, I doubt I'll remember much about it.
