I should finish Mammoth at the Gates today. It's #4 in a series so wasn't sure if you wanted to save that. Alternatively, the author is Vo, and I wasn't sure if V is a difficult letter to find? Anyway, I currently don't have it slotted anywhere so you can choose.

Spun for a new set of tasks on the District Wheel and landed on D11.

We have some banked books we can drop in, working on that now but one I think we need is takes place in Mexico (at least 50%)

Most Ardently has plants on the cover if you want to move it from the spell-it-out wheel.

And the book I'm currently reading, Out of the Drowning Deep, has green text on the cover. Unfortunately, I don't think it has quite enough green to count for the 50% one.

I just picked up Silver Nitrate from the library, which takes place in Mexico City. I can start it tonight.

I made the move for both of your books.

With some shuffling around and a few spots people just grabbed, everything but green cover (at least 50%) is claimed for the new district wheel.

And all the letters are currently claimed or already read for on the current spell out (which is close to complete).

Wow, awesome work District 8!! I'm so impressed by everyone on this team. Glad to be a part of it and contributing (albeit fashionably late) :)

If anyone finishes a book that works for O, we can swap out my book. I'm not sure I'm finishing it today and it's the only book left to finish on our current spell out.

Hopefully I'll finish it some time tomorrow or Friday.

Just a reminder for rules for spell-it-out:

Spell outs can use the first letter of the title or series title (ignore or use THE, A or AN as you prefer), the first letter of the author, narrator* or translator* first or last names. For this version NO character names are permitted.
* these can only be used if the edition read was audio or translated

sorry I'm behind on finishing my book for the wheel. my library is having their annual book sale fundraiser and I'm on the committee so I've been swamped setting up for that. Sale is tomorrow so then things will ease up for me.

I'm seeing what we have to fill in but I don't think we have a set in Argentina

I have a #10 in series I've been waiting to read but also happy to cede to someone else

For the spell outs I can read Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick. Just can’t get to my computer to add it just yet. I should be able to start that today and prob finish tomorrow or Monday.

If anyone else has one closer please take it.

and if I missed a book on the tracking sheet we could use (that we aren't saving for something else like setting #in series) give a shout!

I have a pretty short audio book I can listen to that works for the author initials. I'll grab that one just leaving 2 open spots on the current district wheel.

It ends on Aug 15th in 2 days and 15 hours and ~20 minutes. There is a countdown on the summary page on the tracking spreadsheet.

If the letters aren't set in stone Power Plays I listened to the audiobook and the narrators are Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese. That will take care of the letter I

I's and R's are in most of the spellings so those I replaced will likely drop right into the next one.

I have two possibilities for orange cover, but I'm not particularly fast, so they might not get done much sooner than the end of the challenge.
