Is 3 letters the minimum we are allowed to overlap? We can't overlap 1 or 2 letters? Like, we can't overlap just the A? Cause that seems super easy

It's 3 letters minimum. We can't make it too easy, it's a battle after all :)

One year (way before I was a mod) they had it where the overlap had to be the whole word and articles counted. One of the title ladders had to be like 20 books long. IT WAS SO HARD.

I read some garbage books in that game. The things I do for challenges!

I did find the book Esther on KU which I can read.

But does anyone else have a match?

I found that my library has:
Estuary

Which has the added bonus of being a deeply obnoxious ending.

There are a lot of options for Esther at the library, including
Esther the Wonder Pig, which would be a lot nicer and not get us stuck in an estuary loop.

Did you want to go with Esther the wonder pig? My library does not have a digital copy available.

And to be honest I never thought to search under estuary 😂

They are my favorite series ever (or tied to be fair). Does you library have access to Hoopla? All the audios are on there.

No for some reason all I can get on Hoopla is video content. I use Libby for the audio. I just finished the 3rd one not too long ago the rest are all on hold, coming in up in the next few weeks. I really can't wait!

I'm reading Network Effect #5 right now and loving it. Listening to it on audio which is so fun.

You all have heard that Apple TV+ is working on making Murderbot into a series, right? And, they have cast it. In case you don't want to know who, I have it under a spoiler tag, but I am excited about this.

Yes I had heard. I'm a little disappointed with the casting because I honestly always thought of murderbot as more gender neutral/female leaning. Probably because I didn't listen to the audio until book 2.

I agree on wanting someone more gender neutral. I only did the audios after I read through book four.

Also lots of books starting with venom, vengeance or vengeful if anyone has one they would be able to read in one week.

I will definitely binge that when it comes out. My husband can finally figure out what I keep talking about. He's not much of a reader and I don't feel like I do them justice when I try to explain them to him. That will be fun to watch.

I can read Clean Sweep, it's available on my Hoopla. That might be too mean though?

I have A Clean Kill that I can read which I think works (assuming we can ignore the A at the beginning of the title).

My work schedule sucks. I feel like I am gonna miss a lot 😔

we still have 6 more books to figure out. And with them having to be started and finished in the same week, most people won't want more than one depending on length.

As one of our top readers, you'll likely get at least one of the battle spots :)

And their will still be a Round 2 mini separate from this. And then another battle during Round 3.
