My library has a copy of Own the Wind that I could check out. Motorcycle club romances are hit or miss for me but I could read it if needed.

Reminder that Round 1 ends tomorrow, fairly early am for most of us.

Captains only have until 1 hour past the end of Round 1 to get the spreadsheets finalized.

Can you all let us know when you've finished your last book for the Round? That will make it easier for the captains to make sure we don't miss last minute books.

I think only Krissy and I have books left to finish for the mini.

If you don't get to these before the end of Round 1, that's fine we can still add them during Round 2.

It's hard to believe we are one month in already

Oh I misread. it ends tomorrow. I might have one more but I am not committing to it. we're on the way home from the beach so it depends on how much reading time I'll have. if nothing shows up on there for me for round one by the time you need to submit, then I didn't get time to read later with my needy cats being happy we're home lol

I might be able to finish one more but not sure yet. I usually update the spreadsheet as soon as I finish so as Stacie said, if it's not there at the round end it's because I didn't finish. :)

Correct, we are still planning the battle and we have through the first week of Round 2 to get it all set. We've actually moved quicker than most teams.

Though the D1 & D8 captains decided to slow the planning down a bit because D1 is trying to give others on their team more of chance to chime in. Their team has a much wider range of time zones than we do.

Books can be started for the actual battle on June 22nd and we have until the 29th to get them done. They do not have to read in order and can be read all at the same time.

I actually won't finish another this round so moved my last book to round 2. I started season 3 of Bridgerton and got sucked in so wasn't able to finish anything else.

I'll move my last book to round 2. I will def not finish it by tonight.

The struggle for survival in the arena is a never ending cycle. Sometimes a tribute will luck into a boon but they are just as likely to be a victim of sabotage.

The Randomizer was let loose on all of the teams' resource supply piles. The Arena Masters are not heartless, the news isn't all bad. At least this time.

In Round 1, 1 pile receives a boon (15% page point increase), 2 are left alone, and 1 is the subject of sabotage (15% page point decrease). Impacts to resource supply piles are team specific.

Weapons: Left alone (protected by supply drop so left alone)
Shelter: 15% decrease (protected by supply drop so left alone)
Food: 15% increase (protected by supply drop so left alone)
Defense: Left alone

Anyone who have books left unread on Round 1, I moved them to Round 2.

And I locked the Round 1 tab so no one accidentally adds things there and the captains miss it.

My only concern with Elsewhere is that leaves ERE as the start of their next book. I’m not finding much for them to match with

lol Erection was the only word I could think of. Maybe they have some backroom members who are ready to take the reading to another level 😂

Words starting with "els" are not very easy either. The only other titles I can find are Elsewhere, California and Elsewhere, Home.

I already have a book for the battles and am not particularly interested in either of these books but they are options if anyone else would like to read them.
