Britta | 3 comments Hi I’m Britta, she/her.

I really love animals, and look forward to being a cat mom again in the future. I am a beginning hiker and really enjoy it. Also I am both team coffee and tea. I’m usually really shy and introverted so I don’t know what to say in intros. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

I have recently come out as pan romantic, later in life. I definitely appreciate there being more options, and if I ever say anything wrong please correct me. I love learning and growing. I have recently been reading Ashley Herring Blake romance novels and really enjoy them. My sister recommended them. I normally enjoy graphic novels for example Poison Ivy, Something is Killing the Children , thriller/ mystery books like Ruth Ware, or horror like Riley Sager. I also like reading history books and would be interested in reading LGBTQIA+ themed books. I just finished Sister Outsider and really liked it. I would love recommendations if anyone has any. I look forward to reading with all of you.

Rhiannon (currentlyrhiding) | 34 comments Hey, Britta! If you've been liking Ashley Herring Blake's books, you might like Meryl Wilsner, Alexandria Bellefleur, and/or Haley Cass as well (if you haven't tried them already)!

Archer | 48 comments Hey Britta, welcome!

If you're looking for LGBT historical fiction, Sarah Waters and Patricia Highsmith are both great. Annie on My Mind is a good one too.

There have been a lot of good LGBT regency romances recently too(The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue and Don't Want You Like a Best Friend come to mind) that are cute and Bridgerton-y.

I hadn't heard of Sister Outsider, I'll check it out!

Britta | 3 comments Thank you for the recommendations! I will definitely be adding some authors to my list. I’m not sure if I have my notifications set wrong but I’m not being notified when people respond 😣. Sister Outsider is more of a nonfiction read, but it was very good.
